Sedgwick County Road and Bridge maintains roads and bridges, gravel roads, maintains fairgrounds, puts up and takes down Christmas lights at the Courthouse, mows ditches and sells gravel.
There are 5 to 10 people staffed at the Road and Bridge. Jobs include equipment operators, mower operators, sign maintenance, and laborer. Their duties are to maintain roads, mow weeds, repair signs, and keep books.
