Sedgwick County Clerk's Office - Deputy Clerk

The Sedgwick County Clerk’s Office has an opening for a full time deputy clerk position to begin in January.  This person must have experience with excel and be self motivated. You will learn and get certifications in Motor Vehicle operations, Drivers License operations, Recording and Elections.  The salary range is $17 - $18.50 per hour depending on experience with an increase for certifications earned and $1 per hour increase after one year.  For more information call the Clerk’s office at 970-970-3346 or email Chris Beckman @ cbeckman@sedgwickcountygov.net.

Sedgwick County Full-Time Cleaning Position

We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to fill a Full-Time Cleaning Position. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the Welcome Center, Courthouse, and Annex building.

Primary Duties Include:

  • Bathroom cleaning at the Welcome Center (top priority)
  • Emptying trash and replacing liners
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • Cleaning windows
  • Wiping down all high-touch and frequently used surfaces daily
  • Restocking soap, paper towels, and other paper goods daily or as needed
  • General cleaning duties to ensure buildings remain clean, safe, and welcoming

Schedule:

  • Full-time position
  • Either 4 days at 10 hours or 5 days at 8 hours
  • Schedule flexibility available for the right individual

Pay & Benefits:

  • $17.00 – $17.75 per hour, depending on experience

Sedgwick County Full-Time Maintenance Position

Job Description:
The County is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to fill a Full-Time Maintenance Position. This role is responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance, and repair of county-owned buildings and grounds to ensure safe and functional facilities for staff and the public.

Primary Duties Include:

  • General building maintenance and minor repairs
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
  • Upkeep of HVAC units
  • Routine inspections of buildings and equipment
  • Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Assisting with grounds maintenance, including snow removal and seasonal upkeep
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Other related duties as assigned

Schedule:

  • Full-time position
  • Typical weekday schedule 7:30am – 4:00pm, with occasional after-hours or on-call work as needed

Pay & Benefits:

  • $17.00 – $18.75 per hour, depending on skills and experience
  • Includes a great benefit package

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual for a Part-Time Cleaning Position at the Community Center and possibly the Courthouse and Annex Building. This position focuses on maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for staff and the public.

  • Up to $15,000 per year
  • $15.16  per hour
